Tickets are available now for both upcoming events with the 10th Annual Wine Down Main Street event presented by Hallmark Volkswagen.

The VIP Wine Dinner will be held Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 6:00pm at Hallmark Volkswagen, located at 620 Bakers Bridge Road, Franklin, TN 37067. The VIP Wine Dinner is a 5 Course Seated Dinner with Red Pony Restaurant and Wine Pairings from Hope Family Wines. Tickets are $100 and include all food and beverages.

The Main event will be held Friday, November 5, 2010 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. The Downtown Franklin Merchants will again host thousands of consumers during the most unique wine tasting event in the area. A complete list of participating merchants is listed on the event website closer to the event date.

General Admission tickets for the main event are $75 in advance until October 29, 2010 and will go up to $85 per person at 12:00am on October 30, 2010. Tickets include all wine, beer and food tastings. A complete wine list will be available online at www.winedownmainstreet.com. All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Franklin/Williamson County and Fairview Boys & Girls Club.

Since 2001, Wine Down Main Street has raised more than $840,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Franklin/Williamson County and Fairview Boys & Girls Club. Both Clubs are United Way agencies and members of The Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee.

For 2010, Main Street will again be closed from First Avenue to Fifth Avenue with all the food providers being set up in the Public Square and throughout Main Street. More than 40 shops and businesses participated last year along with almost 30 restaurants.

The 10th annual Wine Down Main Street event on Bakers Bridge in Cool Springs, presented by Hallmark Volkswagen, is Thursday, June 17th.

Check out this great Cool Springs event as we kick the summer off with a traditional Shrimp Boil and Pig Roast in preparation for the 10th Annual Wine Down Main Street in November and the most unique wine tasting event in the area!

For a decade, the Wine Down Main Street series has raised more than $840,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Franklin/Williamson County. On the first Friday in November, Main Street will again be closed from First Avenue to Fifth Avenue with food providers being set up along the way.

FRANKLIN, Tenn. —The 9th Wine Down Main Street event presented by Hallmark Volkswagen will be held Friday, November 6, 2009 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. The Downtown Franklin Merchants will again host thousands of consumers during the most unique wine tasting event in the area. A complete list of participating merchants is listed on the event website.  Look for the best of Cool Springs restaurants to be represented.

Wine Down Main Street takes place on Friday, November 6 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Central Time. Participants will receive a commemorative wine glass and booklet that will list the wines that are being poured in each location along with a description of each wine.

Hard tickets are also available now at the following merchant locations: Hallmark Volkswagen, Character Eyes, What’s in Store, The Faye Snodgrass Gallery, and Boys & Girls Club of Franklin / Williamson County.

Participating Restaurants will have food samples for all event attendees to enjoy throughout the evening to compliment the wine tastings. Some of the most popular restaurants in Williamson County are participating, including Amerigo, Red Pony, Chaffin’s Barn, Daily Dish, J. Christopher’s, Sperry’s, Wild Ginger, Saffire, Bonefish Grill, Swankys Taco Shop, SOL, Martin’s BBQ Joint, Tin Roof 2, Dan McGuinness Pub, Bosco’s, Constant Craving Catering, Cool Café, Noshville Deli, Franklin Mercantile, H.R.H. Dumplins and specialty food providers including Noble Springs Dairy, Cabot Cheese, and Naticakes.

VIP and Premium Room guests that upgrade an additional $20 per room to enjoy special tastings will be able to start an hour earlier at 6:00pm – 9:00pm. The Red House, located at 138 3rd Ave. N, will host two general admission tasting areas, and the “VIP Champagne Room“, where guests can enjoy a slightly larger pour of the following: VIP Kir Royale Champagne cocktail (Korbel and Chambord), Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte Brut, and Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Rose. Character Eyes, located at 407 Church Street, will host the “Caymus Premium Tasting Room“, where guests can enjoy the following premium wines including: 2007 Belle Glos Meomi, Pinot Noir, 2007 Belle Glos Las Alturas, Pinot Noir, and 2006 Caymus Special Selection, Cabernet Sauvignon.

The new High Gravity Beer Section will be located at Landmark Booksellers and Cadence Bank during the event. There will be approximately 15 – 20 High Gravity Beers to taste, including brands such as: Stone, Dogfish Head, Rogue, Ommegang, Duvel and more.

Cigars will also be available for purchase in the High Gravity Beer Section at Landmark Booksellers. Cigar aficionados will be able to talk one on one the Owner, National Sales Manager and local rep from Maker’s Mark Cigar’s / Ted’s Made by Hand.
