Sperry’s restaurant in Cool Springs is offering Sunday brunch every week from 10:30am to 3:00pm.  The menu looks fantastic and we’re looking forward to checking it out soon!

Here is a peak at the Sperry’s Cool Springs Sunday brunch menu:

Benedicts - (Choice of breakfast Potatoes, grits or seasonal fruit)
Sperry’s Benedict – Tenderloin, bearnaise
Eggs Benedict – Canadian bacon, hollandaise
Crab Florentine Benedict – Crab, creamed spinach, hollandaise

Omelets – (Choice of breakfast Potatoes, grits or seasonal fruit.  Served with a biscuit)
Steak Omelet – Tenderloin, Monterey Jack, side of Bearnaise
Western Omelet – Peppers, bacon, red onions, Monterey Jack
Vegetable Omelet – Peppers, roasted red onions, tomatoes, corn, spinach

On The Sweet Side
Belgian Waffles – Topped with Creme Fraiche with choice of pecans, strawberries, blueberries, bananas or chocolate chips

Join winemaker Laurie Claudon at Sperry’s fine dining restaurant in Cool Springs to sample some of Clark-Claudon‘s finest wines paired with exceptional Sperry’s appetizers.

Brinkmann’s Wine & Spirits on Carothers Pkwy is working with Sperry’s restaurant to jointly host this April wine tasting.

Wines offered in this special Cool Springs area tasting include 2008 Wild Iris Sauvignon Blanc, 2006 3 Stones Cabernet and 2005 Clark-Claudon Estate Cabernet.

The 2005 Clark-Claudon Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon was given a high rating of 94 points by world re-known wine expert Robert Parker.

Here is Robert Parker’s 94 Point review:

This family owned vineyard in the northeast mountains of Napa Valley has produced a sensational 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate.  Its dense ruby/purple hue is followed by a Paulliac-like perfume of spice box, cedar, black currants and sublte background oak.  The wine is full-bodied with sweet but noticeable tannins, and a savory, expansive mouthfeel.  Drink this beauty now and over the next fifteen to twenty years.

Sperry’s restaurant is celebrating their 36th Anniversary at both their Cool Springs and Belle Meade locations.  It’s hard to believe this Nashville institution has been around since 1974!

During the entire of month of May, a special “$36 Dinner For Two” will be available, in honor of Sperry’s 36th Anniversary in Nashville.

The special dinner for two includes two 6 ounce filets, salad bar, choice of one side item to share and a famous Sperry’s Snowball.  The suggested wine pairing is Arrington Vineyards “Red Fox Red”.

This promotion is not available with any other discount or promotion.  The price does not include beverage, tax or gratuity.
