They will be sampling your favorite Italian Cordials!  A total of four after dinner liqueurs with a selection of appetizers and desserts for only $13 per person.

Come visit Amerigo restaurant in Cool Springs for a wine tasting and sample some fantastic wines from Michele Chiarlo.  Chiarlo is a highly respected producer of the fine wines of Piedmont, Italy.

The Italian wine tasting will be held at the Amerigo in Cool Springs on Tuesday, August 10th from 6 – 8pm.  Included in the wine tasting:

Amerigo Beer & Pizza Tasting

Come to Amerigo restaurant in Cool Springs on Tuesday, July 13 to sample their signature Brick Oven Pizzas while sipping ice cold beer!

Try the Tennessee Cheese Pizza with Feta, Gorgonzola and Asiago cheeses, or the House Smoked Chicken and Spinach Pizza, with sun-dried tomatoes, ricotta cheese and roasted garlic.

All pizzas are made with the freshest ingredients on a crispy honey-wheat crust.

Amerigo Chef & Sommelier Pairing

At the Amerigo restaurant in Cool Springs, come in Thursday – Sunday for this week’s Chef and Sommelier pairing! The chef is featuring a Braised Short Rib in a red wine and herb sauce, served with Celery Root and Horseradish Mashed Potatoes.

Enjoy this succulent dish with a glass of Eremo Barbera e Nebbiolo for the perfect combination. This Italian wine is sweet and smooth on the palate, offering flavors of red currant and blackberry with nuances of chocolate and toasted cofee.

Enjoy the Braised Rib and glass of Nebbiolo together for $24, or a la carte: $15 for the Braised Rib; $9 for the wine. Reservations are not necessary, but accepted.

Also, join us for a Ruffino Wine Tasting on Tuesday June 1st from from 6:00-8:00pm.  We will be sampling four varietals sourced from vineyards in the Umbria, Chianti, and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions of Italy. Enjoy our wine tasting and light appetizers for $13 per person; reservations are not necessary.

Join Amerigo in Cool Springs on Tuesday, March 23rd for our ‘Green’ Wine Tasting! Featured organic wines come from the Peltier Station Winery in Lodi, California.  Come learn about the certification process wineries must undergo to market their wines as ‘green’.

Enjoy four wines and light appetizers for just $13 per person.  Tasting takes place in the Amerigo lounge area from 6-8pm, but feel free to stay for dinner!  Reservations are not necessary.

Ripe citrus and mellow summer fruits with acidic finish.

Wine & Chocolate Tasting

Join Schakolad and Amerigo Cool Springs for a Wine and Chocolate tasting next Tuesday, January 26th from 6 pm to 8 pm.  Wine and chocolate sounds good to us!

The Cool Springs Amerigo has teamed up with Schakolad to pair wines with a selection of their delectable treats. Enjoy four courses of wine and chocolate for just $13 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Come early for dinner, or stay and order items from their Small Plates menu! Schakolad is a family-run chocolate factory in Cool Springs specializing in handmade, European style chocolates. Get in the Cool Springs holiday spirit while sipping your favorite Christmas themed cocktails!

Amerigo restaurant in Cool Springs is having a Holiday Cocktail Party on Wednesday December 16th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.  Amerigo is one of the few restaurants in Cool Springs holding regular wine tastings and networking events.  If you haven’t attended one yet, you are missing out!

Amerigo’s new ownership has taken the marketing bull by the horns, evidenced by the throngs of people seen during lunch and dinner.  The events Amerigo have been holding are also reasonably priced, usually under $20.  A very wise move during a time when most people are focused on value.

And who doesn’t love meeting new people with great food and wine!

For the Holiday Cocktail Party, Amerigo will be sampling four drinks with your choice of one Small Plate item for just $13.50 per person.  Reservations are not required.

The following cocktails will be featured:

Poinsettia – Prosecco, Grand Marnier and a splash of cranberry juice
Diablo de Invierno – Makers Mark with vanilla Cognac, cinnamon syrup and an ancho chili
Candy Cane – Absolut vodka, peppermint schnapps and Godiva Dark Chocolate, garnished with a candy cane
Absolut Wonder – Absolut vanilla vodka and Godiva White Chocolate
