We reported back in October that Five Guys Burgers was opening in Cool Springs. Some may have missed it, for others this serves as an update on the Cool Springs restaurants.
The former Ming’s Chinese Buffet, in a retail center with FedEx Office and Papa John’s, was split in half to accommodate Five Guys Burgers coming in to the area. Five Guys is taking the end-cap space, about three thousand square feet.
Ming’s Chinese Buffet will reopen as a smaller restaurant called Peking Palace, probably without the buffet.
Everyone in Cool Springs was very excited to hear we had a great place opening to have a fat cheeseburger. Five Guys Burgers is known for nice fat cheeseburgers for those not familiar.
Four months later and the retail space has been subdivided but no interior build out has started.
We’re looking forward to these new restaurants in Cool Springs, but things are not moving very fast over there for Five Guys Burgers or Peking Palace.
