Williamson County Schools Rezoning Vote RESCHEDULED

Breaking news in Cool Springs!

The Williamson County Board of Education has canceled the specially called meeting previously set for Thursday, November 11 and has moved the vote on rezoning to Monday, November 15 according to School Board Chairman Pat Anderson.

Rescheduling of the controversial Williamson County Schools rezoning vote was made after learning at least one Board member could not attend the November 11 meeting.

“We will have at least one Board member out of town on the 11th,” said Anderson. “All of our members wanted to be present for the zoning vote to make sure their constituents were represented, so Dr. Mike Looney and I agreed it was in the best interest of the Board and the district to move the vote to the regular meeting date.”

The School Board meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, November 15 in the Auditorium of the Administrative Complex, and will be televised on WC-TV.

WC-TV is the Williamson County’s Government and Education channel.

You know if they are going to force a handful of specific agendas, they could at least accompany it with a real plan for the rest of the county. How about delaying for a real reason like the plan smells of government at it’s worst – a combination of corruption, incompetency, and apathy.
