Williamson County discusses opening of 3 new schools

Students in the Nolensville area will be doing some major shuffling with the opening of three new schools over the next three years.

Thursday, Williamson County Schools Superintendent Mike Looney will hold two informational meetings for parents to discuss the new zone lineshe proposed on Monday.

Mill Creek elementary and middle schools and Nolensville High School are scheduled to open in the fall of 2016 off of York Road.

Thursday’s first information session is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the auditorium of Nolensville Town Hall.

The second meeting runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the cafeteria of Sunset Middle School in Brentwood.
