There was a water main break sometime last night in Cool Springs, affecting both Franklin and Brentwood TN.
The CoolSprings.com news team raced over to the scene at the intersection of Bakers Bridge and Mallory Lane in Franklin.
Upon arriving at the scene we thought WKRN News Channel 2 ran away because it was so cold!
When we spoke with the Mallory Valley Utility District, they told us the break was actually right at I-65, not the intersection of Bakers Bridge and Mallory Lane. They are switching valves all over Franklin and Brentwood to fix the problem and regain pressure for residents.
Mckay’s Mill subdivision, Alara Cool Springs, Alara Brook and Alara Farms have been affected from complaints we received. The Publix on Moore’s lane was unable to provide coffee this morning or put out some produce this morning with the lack of water.
The Cool Springs water main break should be fixed before lunch.
Williamson County’s Mallory Valley Utility District felt confident they could repair the water main break in Cool Springs TN quickly.
Here is another short clip of WKRN News Channel 2 reporting from the scene although there is no evidence of a water main break or repairs from where the broadcast is.
The Mallory Valley Utility District is located a 465 Duke Drive, Franklin TN. For more information contact them at 615-628-0237
