Search resumes for missing 16-year-old boy

The search has resumed in Williamson County for a teen reported missing Thursday afternoon.

Christopher Smithburg, 16, was last seen around Noon Thursday at his home on Rocky Fork Road. He was reported missing around 3 p.m.

Officials called off the search early Friday morning after classifying Christopher as a runaway but have since received new information and are again actively searching for him.

Christopher is five feet, four inches tall and weighs 110 pounds.

He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a tan Carhart jacket, jeans and boots.
