RCC Western World is relocating from Gaylord’s Opry Mills mall to the Cool Springs area of Nashville.
The retailer is well known throughout the Western retail industry as a purveyor of western apparel, boots, hats and accessories.
We spoke with the RCC Western World corporate office and they indicated an October or November opening for the new 15,000 square Cool Springs location. The timing for the store opening will coincide with RCC Western World’s new online catalog and website marketplace going live.
RCC Western World in Cool Springs will be in the Publix anchored shopping center called “Cool Springs Festival” on Moores Lane in Brentwood. Boyle manages and leases the retail shopping center. Other notable tenants located within Cool Springs Festival include Petsmart, Michael’s Home Depot, Jasmine Thai restaurant, Rooms to Go and Haverty’s.
Still closed and undergoing repairs due to damage from the epic Nashville flood, the Opry Mills mall at Opryland is rumored to be losing several retail tenants. Much to Gaylord’s chagrin, some tenants are either not able or simply unwilling to wait until Opry Mills reopens. The Rivergate Mall area is especially benefiting from the situation, due to the sheer volume of vacant retail space available and the close proximity to Gaylord’s Opryland and Opry Mills mall.
RCC Western World operates 29 stores in 12 states including Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. RCC’s family of stores include the brands RCC Western Stores, RCC Western & Work Warehouse and Western Outlet – Discount Western Store.
