New retail space in Cool Springs
Panda Express Gourmet Chinese Food is opening in a new retail center currently under construction in front of Lowe’s on Mallory Lane in Cool Springs. A yet to be named mattress store is also opening in the new center.
This location in Cool Springs Franklin will be the fourth Panda Express in the area; the other three are in Nashville, Smyrna and Murfreesboro. The Panda Express in Smyrna is the only of the three that has drive-thru service. We were unable to determine if the new Cool Springs location will offer drive-thru.
As of today there are a total 1,352 Panda Express restaurants in the United States and Puerto Rico.
Other than P.F. Chang’s, there really aren’t too many Chinese restaurants in Cool Springs so Panda Express will be welcomed by most. Most of them are sprinkled throughout Franklin and Brentwood.
We spoke with Panda Express and they expected a November opening, although the date was not firm.
