Oyster Easter is almost here!
This year’s event will be held Saturday April 23 from 1pm – 5pm at Travellers Rest Historic Home.
Don’t miss Nashville’s most sought after party, it’s not too late to buy tickets! As one of the premier social events in Nashville, Oyster Easter is the place to see and be seen.
Oyster Easter was founded by a group of Vanderbilt University students the day before Easter back in 1962 as a way to celebrate Spring. Since 1990, Oyster Easter been the primary fundraiser for the Community Resource Center, a virtual “lifeline” for 80 Middle Tennessee non-profit organizations.
Always held the day before Easter, the party includes lots of oysters (naturally) and other delicacies such as Jambalaya, corn on the cob, hush puppies and more. The adventurous can try Oyster Shooters (potent, watch out!).
Blackstone Beer and Barefoot Wine are included in the ticket (Must be over 21 to attend). Oyster Easter is fully catered by South Street with all food included in ticket price. Live entertainment includes Les Kerr’s Bayou Band.
