Two people were injured, one critically, in a head-on collision Wednesday morning in Franklin.
It happened around 8:15 a.m. on Mack Hatcher Parkway between Liberty Pike and Cool Springs Boulevard.
Franklin police said one person was transported by LifeFlight helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville in critical condition.
The other person suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Mack Hatcher Parkway is currently closed while the Franklin Police Department’s critical response team investigates the crash.
The crash occurred in a construction zone although police do not think that was a factor in the crash.
