Lawyer assigned to janitor accused of peeping in girls’ bathroom

The former school janitor accused of watching young students in the girl’s bathroom appeared in court Monday.

During his court appearance, a Williamson County judge appointed Victor Alvarado a lawyer.

The 48-year-old man was arrested in January after he was found hiding in a crawlspace above the ceiling in the bathroom.

During their investigation, authorities also found missing ceiling tiles in a faculty restroom and other female bathrooms throughout the school.

Alvarado is charged with observation without consent and is scheduled to appear in court on April 21.
